Dr. Tsang was raised in Northern California and attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology.  He then attended the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine and graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2010.  While attending dental school, Dr. Tsang was one of six dental students that earned a Masters degree in Public Health concurrently.

Although not required by the state of Virginia,  Dr. Tsang decided to further his education and training by completing a one year General Practice Residency at the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York.  During his residency, he received advanced education in the management of dental emergencies, implant restorations, fixed and removable prosthodontics, periodontal management and surgery, hospital based oral surgery and endodontics. He is a member of the Northern Virginia Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He practices all facets of general dentistry.

He is engaged to Jennifer Tsui, a Northern Virginia native and Virginia Tech alumnus.  He enjoys backpacking, reading, and trying out new restaurants in his free time.
