Dear Patients, Family and Friends, 

We have great news!  Governor Northam has lifted the mandated closure of dental offices and other non-emergent care medical facilities.  We are proud and happy to inform you that we will re-open for business as usual starting Monday morning, May, 4th, at 9:00 AM.  We can’t wait to see all of you!

In his press conference, Wednesday, April 29, Governor Northam emphatically stated that dental offices are safe!  He further emphasized the need to see your dentist for routine care, stressing that good oral health is a vital part of your overall health. 

During the past six weeks, while our doctors have been in the office seeing emergencies, we have set in place additional safety protocols via ADA, VDA, VDH and CDC guidelines which are outlined below.

• All patients will be screened before their appointments via phone. Patients will be screened a second time upon arrival at the office.  

• We are asking that all patients call the office when they arrive in the parking lot.  This will decrease exposure to other patrons and help to adhere to “social distancing.”

• All magazines and toys have been removed from the patient areas, as they are difficult to disinfect. 

• Our reception areas will be fitted with clear shielding to protect our team members.

• When possible, we are limiting office traffic by only allowing the patient being seen to enter the office. If you must be accompanied, it may be with only one individual, and the individual must wear a mask at all times to decrease risk of exposure.  

• Appropriate and updated protective gear for team members has been provided.

• Hand sanitizer has been placed in common areas for patients entering and leaving the office.

As our patient, you know that we treat all our patients as if they were family and in a manner that we want to be treated. To that end, we know that everyone has different time lines.  Be comforted in the knowledge that we are here for you when you are ready.  We miss each one of you and look forward to seeing you all in the near future.
