PPE Fee

Trying to ensure everyone’s continued good health has dramatically increased costs with respect to additional equipment, time and materials.  For the foreseeable future, we will be assessing a nominal charge of $10.00 for every patient visit.  We feel this is a small price to pay in order to try and ensure everyone’s continued good health.

Effective Monday, May 25th, 2020, we will be implementing the new fee.  We want to stress that this fee is to specifically help with increased costs associated with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We are committed to everyone’s health and are paying for the bulk of the increased costs without raising any other fees.  Fortunately, most dental insurance companies are aware of the increased costs for keeping everyone healthy and many of them are stepping up to help.

Please be aware that if your insurance company does not cover this fee, the responsibility then becomes the patient’s to pay.  If you want to check your benefits in regard to this matter before your next visit, we suggest calling your insurance company directly to check your personal coverage for dental procedure code D1999, and mention the $10.00 PPE fee.

We are truly honored to be your providers of dental health and welfare.  All of us at the Reston Family Dental Group, look forward to seeing you soon.

All the best,
